Support Equal Pay Campaign

The broad aim of the Support Equal Pay Campaign is to raise awareness of the gender pay gap and how women are still being underpaid compared with men for doing jobs requiring the same level of skill.

Leigh Day & Co is committed to the Support Equal Pay Campaign as part of its wider ethos of supporting individuals or groups who have suffered from discrimination and breaches in human rights law.

Campaign Commitment

• To raise awareness in society of the continuing gender pay gap

• To educate women of their right to equal pay

• To support those seeking redress from their employers

• To ensure that employers respect the rights of those seeking redress

• To encourage employers to adopt equal pay policies in conformance with legislation

Our Campaign commitment means that we are willing to arrange talks or information sessions to interested parties such as Law Centres, Citizens Advice Bureaus and women’s groups.  

Additionally we are happy to arrange sessions with groups of workers who believe that they have been or are being underpaid and would like more information on their rights.
